AI detectors flag human writing because they do not actually know who wrote something. How to Protect Your Work From False Flags
- Write in Google Docs - version history is the strongest evidence that a human wrote the paper, showing real-time edits over time
- Vary your sentence structure deliberately - mix short and long sentences, use questions, and break patterns to increase textual "burstiness"
- Include personal observations - phrases like "what I found interesting was" or specific interpretations that only you would make
- Keep your research trail - bookmarks, notes, and screenshots of sources you consulted
- Do not over-edit - a paper with a few minor imperfections actually looks more human than one that is perfectly polished
