Module 2: The useful tools — We'll skip the confusing features and show you the exact tools you will actually use.
- Can Gemini read live websites?
- Yes, because it is connected to Google Search. — It's powered by Google.
- What happens if you give Gemini a link to a website with a strict paywall (like the NYT)?
- It will likely fail to read it and tell you it cannot access the content. — It can't bypass subscriptions.
- If a link doesn't work, what is the best fallback method?
- Copy the text from the article yourself and paste it directly into the chat. — Pasting text never fails.
