Módulo 4: Writing better prompts — AI is just a tool. I'll show you how to write prompts that actually get you what you want.
- What does the 'R' in the RCTF framework stand for, and what does it do?
- Role: It sets the 'lens' the AI uses to pull data by telling it who to pretend to be. — Is it a senior marketing executive, a python developer, or a fitness coach?
- According to the lesson, what is the biggest mistake beginners make when prompting?
- They forget the Context, assuming the AI already knows about their business or situation. — Because the chat interface feels human, people forget the machine knows nothing about them yet.
- How should you treat the AI when providing Context for your prompt?
- Like a brilliant intern on their very first day who knows absolutely nothing about your company. — They have the skills, but they lack the specific background facts of your situation.
- In the RCTF framework, what is the difference between Context and Task?
- Context is the background information about your situation; Task is exactly what you want the AI to do right now. — One sets the stage. The other gives the direct order.
- What is the purpose of the 'F' (Format) in RCTF?
- To tell the AI exactly how the output should look, such as using bullet points, a table, or a specific tone. — It restricts the presentation and structure of the final answer.
- Do you have to use all four pieces of the RCTF framework every single time you talk to the AI?
- No—for quick definitions a short prompt is fine, but RCTF should be your default for any important work. — It's a workflow for serious tasks, not a universal requirement for asking 'what is 2+2'.
